Patrick is the kind of adviser who earns trust through patience and clarity. He is naturally analytical but never clinical. His path into financial advice started with an economics and finance degree, but it was the people side that made it stick. “The degree was broad, and a lot of it didn’t quite resonate,” he says. “What drew me to advice was the chance to work with everyday people, build real relationships, and actually help them improve their lives.”
Patrick joined First Financial in 2022 as a paraplanner, where he developed a strong technical foundation in financial planning and client service. After a year in that role, he stepped into the position of associate adviser in 2023 and is now a fully qualified financial adviser.

Retirement planning holds a particular interest for him. He sees it as a stage where people often feel the most uncertain, and where clear, grounded advice can make the biggest difference. “It’s something people can see as a very complex part of their life,” he says. “Being able to clear things up, show them that their life’s work has made their goals achievable. That’s the part I enjoy the most.”
He builds lasting client relationships by looking past the financial position on paper. Understanding someone’s interests, their family, their everyday life. That personal connection is what turns a professional relationship into a trusted one.
Outside of work, Patrick is rarely still. He enjoys running, long walks with his wife, and discovering new local trails on weekends. A devoted Hawks supporter, he doesn’t miss a game, whether he’s cheering from the stands or calling out plays from the couch.
